Congratulations, Jahzara!!

Jahzara Calhoun was the recipient of  Ruben and Vera Ford Memorial Scholarship, Gwendolyn Johnson Award and Jesse J. Washington Memorial Award. The awards were presented to her during the 45th Annual African American Graduation Awards Program sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Kappa Omega Omega Chapter with Bakersfield Ivy Legacy Foundation, Inc. last Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 6PM at the Bakersfield High School-Harvey Auditorium.

The Jesse J. Washington Memorial Award is for Technology, Small Business or Vocational Training.
